Great article. I share aggressively on LinkedIn and Bluesky plus Substack. Too many bots to bother with Facebook. Nextdoor needs tolerance because you then need to deal with the endless stream of posts about porch thieves.
LinkedIN is under used as a means to communicate - while I understand "talking politics" on LinkedIN many not be for everyone although we need to learn how to talk about politics without talking about politics - focusing on issues and values also helps.
I've been on LinkedIn since July 2017. I was the nonpolitical policy wonk at first with deep expertise in ejection administration.
I'm still that but I've also developed a strong following not just the substance of public policy but sharp commentary. Its a platform that takes time and patience to develop. I'm surprised at the international hits I get. And now the last few months people are really paying attention.
